Amy Nuttall released a crossover album due to her appearance on a celebrity edition of the karaoke show Stars in Their Eyes. Prior to this, she was a UK soap star and pin-up. She has only made the one album, and has since moved on to the West End stage. Her voice is probably one of the weakest, but she has charm and decent interpretation skills to pull her through. Her material is similar to Becky Jane Taylor or Andrea Ross. Her album, Best Days, combines crossover repertoire with original compositions and pop. Despite her novelty factor, it is probably a shame that she has not made any more albums; she's incredibly accessible and likeable, and her pin-up status would have drawn a younger audience into the genre. She has, however, returned to TV acting; she was last seen on BBC's Hotel Babylon.
