It's not every day that a crossover artist tackles Mozart's 'Queen of the Night', but Natasha Marsh has certainly recorded it for all of us to hear. But then Marsh has had a career in opera - so much so that her debut album came as a surprise to the opera circle, as she did not release an album full of arias as they expected. Her second album is probably more to their tastes, though Marsh has never shed that accessible tone that would be expected of a crossover artist. Although she has not recorded anything new, her time in opera has ensured that she has a wider choice of repertoire to select from, so her albums are not completely typical, but at the same time she does not alienate the wider audience. Her voice is rich and polished and she will especially please fans of Izzy, Keedie and Lesley Garrett.
