ARTIST OVERALL RATINGS
Violinist Diana Yukawa has been around for quite a while in Japan as a classical artist and child star, releasing two albums. Now, newly signed under Sony, she is aiming for the international market with her first classical crossover album The Butterfly Effect. It is easy to make comparisons to Vanessa-Mae and Lucia Micarelli, but she's quite different from both, immersing herself into the true spirit of crossover, but coming up with more than just the tired drum machine. Her arrangements are classy and diverse whilst the material itself is mostly original, most of which are composed by her. With the talent, good looks, stage presence and oozing creativity, Yukawa is set for international success.
